Part 2: How Inner Peace, Happiness, and Satisfaction Can Lead to Creativity and Growth!

Have you ever heard the saying “You can’t have your cake, and eat it too”? I have, and I always wondered what that really meant. What is the point of having a cake, if you can’t eat it?! Now I understand that it means that you cannot have the best of both worlds/can’t have it both ways.

​I found a similar situation when it comes to happiness and success. For me, happiness is a state of being that is filled with inner peace & satisfaction. Also, to me, success is a state of being that is filled with creativity and growth!

Now I found myself at odds because I had always heard that satisfaction leads to laziness, and I know laziness can never lead to creativity & growth. Hence, happiness could never lead to success, yet I wanted them both, TOGETHER. Basically, I wanted to have my cake, and eat it too! I wanted to have the best of both worlds - the happiness world AND the success world.

At first, it seemed like it would be impossible. Yey, I found that a genuine part of me persevered. It didn’t want to settle for the either/or paradigm. It wanted it ALL!

At last, I found the answer, and found that there is a new world which is available to us all! It is the AND paradigm, where you can have it both ways. You CAN have it ALL!

In fact, to my delight, I found that the AND paradigm is the ultimate truth, while the either/or paradigm is just an illusion. 🙂 You can only be both truly happy and truly successful - it can’t happen either/or!

I found that when I was truly happy, creativity naturally flowed from my being, and growth was automatic, so success was an effortless result!

On the other hand, when I was not truly happy, creativity bottled up inside me, and growth got stagnant, hence success was nowhere to be found.

I find that happiness is at the source of success, and not at odds with it. It is also true that true happiness leads to success, and not the other way around.

Inner peace and satisfaction in the present moment are natural ingredients of true happiness. So, they also can’t be at odds with success. Success is a natural result of creativity and growth. So all of these must flow like a river – in harmony with each other.

So this is how I found that you and I can truly have it ALL 😊
